Here you see the 1st ADB Colour Coded Taxiway Light, This Light is designed to emit a Wide Beam for Wide Sections of Airport Taxiways, this light also uses 2 x 48 watt MR16 Halogen Airfield Lamps to allows Bi-Directional Light Distribution which allows light to shine in Both Directions on the Taxiway. This Light can also be Lit on a twin Circuit to allow the light to shine in one Direction Only (Uni-Directional Light) for Example a Aircraft Leaving the Runway Only.

Unfortunately the Lamps have Failed in this Light.

Genuine World War II Taxi Track Light as one used on RAF North Coates Airfield

Here you see a genuine and carefully restored, World War II type Mark 2 Taxi-Track Light made by REVO Lighting, it was originally installed at RAF North Coates, in Lincolnshire. The light fitting was presented to a RAF Electrician when he retired 2007 by his colleagues who refurbished and mounted on a hardwood base with simulated concrete surface effect. This Light is fitted with a blue filter and is fully restored, in superb working order. and uses a 15 watt Pigmy Lamp with B22d or BC Cap

This Multi Electric M-1 type Taxiway Edge Light provides Low Profile lighting for military airfields. The low profile minimises damage due to aircraft drag parachutes which are used to slow landing aircraft.

The M-1 Taxiway light is also specially Designed to be used on Nuclear Airbases where the low Swept Wings of B52 Bombers, would overhang the Taxiway Edges, which could damage a standard L861-T type Taxiway Edge Light.

This Light came from Berlin-Schönefeld Airport, which was owned by Soviet Military Administration in Germany, based there were East German Airlines (Aeroflot and Interflug) and the Soviet Air Forces, this light was manufactured at the Tesla factory in Czechoslovakia during the Cold War.
